About our project
80% of brain development happens in the first six years of life – and this is exactly where we start! Our motto? Give children the tools they need to change the world. That is our mission – with heart, creativity and a clear goal: to make the world a little bit better, together with the youngest.
What are the SDGs?
SDGs, Sustainable Development Goals, Global Goals or Agenda 2030. Those are pretty big and complicated words. It’s about 17 goals to make the world a better place by 2030. They aim to reduce poverty, improve education, clean energy and protect the environment so that everyone can lead a good life. It’s about working together globally to shape a fair and sustainable future.
Idea generator
Our idea generator helps educators to develop ideas for everyday kindergarten life around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For each topic, it provides
- three title suggestions,
- shows which SDGs are associated with it,
- gives a brief description of the idea,
- formulates learning objectives and
- offers concrete step-by-step instructions.
This makes it easy and creative to implement sustainable projects.

Our impact
With SDGs4Kindergarten, we are laying the foundations for a sustainable future by introducing the youngest children to the global sustainability goals through play. Our impact is reflected in:
- Education for sustainable development: children learn to take responsibility for their environment and society.
- Raising awareness in families: By integrating parents, we create a multiplier effect that carries sustainable values into everyday life.
- Support for educators: We provide educators with tools to teach the SDGs in a creative and practical way.
